Happy Monday :)

Hello! What a wonderful weekend, the weather was beautiful and warm. Yesterday we spent the day at Ocean Grove, NJ with my aunt and parents. It was around 87 degrees, a little too hot for me but I survived LOL. We walked the boardwalk all the way into Asbury Park and back. Then we went for lunch, went shopping in the little shops. I found some awesome vintage lace in one of the stores, I was so excited. Then we had ice cream which was yummy. It was a nice day.

I got my layout done for TallyScrapper Team Jim Week 11. We had to scrap about what we do on the weekends to relax:

This layout is for Karen's Book of Me class over at JADs. You had to scrap about your favorite day. Mine is when my boys were born. Michael is on the left and Maxwell on the right: Have a wonderful week!!!

Hello and Happy Tuesday!

Another week has come again. Spring break is over and the kids are back in school. They had a great week off with their Nunu (my mom). Wednesday we went to see Aliens vs. Monsters, I was so surprised that it was such a good movie. Friday Maxwell came to work with me. It was nice to spend the day with him.

Here is my Tallyscrapper Team Jim Week 10 layout. We had to list 5 positive qualities about ourselves and we also had to put a picture of ourselves. Lately I've been doing too many layouts with my face on them, so I decided to Simpsonize myself LOL Check out this site: http://simpsonizeme.com/# I would love to see how you guys look Simpsonized. If you can post a picture of your Simpsonized self on your blog, let me know and I'll come leave some love for ya.

Also, here is my S4G Faithbooking April Music LO Challenge:

Have a great week!

Coloring Easter Eggs

Hello everyone, hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed Easter!
Ours was really nice, we had a great 3 day weekend.
We colored Easter eggs on Friday. Maxwell was in charge of coloring all the eggs.

As you can see, Max was hard at work drawing on his eggs before dying them:Michael came down to color his egg:

Here's the final results:I never realized how much Max loves green cause there's a lot of green eggs there LOL

Oh and I have to share this totebag that my Mom got me for Easter:

Isn't that just so adorable? I love it!!!

I also have some new layouts to share. I realized that my face is on way too much of them LOL but that's just the way it turned out (he he)

I did it!!!

I've always loved the look of three column blogs and I finally did it! I found this site (http://www.threecolumnblogger.com/) that shows step by step how to change from two columns to three columns. I followed all the steps, it was pretty easy and I'm so happy with the way it turned out.

Well it's a three day weekend ~ woohoo! I can't wait to get home and scrap. I have tons of projects to work on. Tomorrow we'll be coloring easter eggs which should be a blast.

Have a great weekend and a very Happy Easter holiday!

Happy Tuesday!

Ah, the sun is out today! It's so nice to get some light around here. Yesterday was horrible, dark and wet all day. I don't know what possessed me to go out yesterday with ballerina flats and no stockings. My feet were wet all day and my shoes were slippery and squishy the whole way home. I survived though LOL

Spring break is starting on Thursday, the kids get seven days off of school and are super excited. I have off Friday, me and Maxwell will be coloring Easter eggs. Michael is not interested in that anymore now that the teenage years are setting in :)

I'm also starting back on Weight Watchers. I had started about a year ago and was doing good but I fell off the bandwagon. I think I was looking at the scale way to much and agonizing over how the weight wasn't coming off fast enough. Now that summer is coming, I've started again. The hardest thing for me is the weekend and eating out, so we'll see how it goes.
I got some layouts done this past weekend, I'm having a ball doing my book of me:

I'm also having a scrapbook layout challenge over at Jean's Art Dolls http://iboard.jeansartdolls.com/index.php?showtopic=9273. I'd love to have you come over and participate, I have a cool little prize for the winner. This is the layout that I did as an example for that challenge and it's also for a team challenge at TallyScrapper and a challenge for my critique group at sb.com:

Enjoy the week!!!! Hugs,

What a week so far!

Wow, what a week’s it’s been. Monday I started not to feel well. Tuesday comes and I’m feeling horrible so I decide to stay home from work. I get a call from Maxwell’s school nurse saying he’s having trouble breathing. He stayed home on Monday; I figured it was the allergies kicking in. Well, my mom and I get to the school and the nurse says he’s having decreased lung activity. They call 911 and the ambulance takes him to the hospital while I followed in the car. Turns out he had an upper respiratory infection; they gave him two breathing treatments while he was at the hospital. He had been running around in the playground before this happened and with the change in weather and allergies, it had an effect on him. Thankfully he’s doing just fine, he was a real trooper. He now has an inhaler at home and at school if he’s not feeling well. God is so good!!! Oh and Michael got Student of the Month for February ~ I'm so proud of that boy!

Okay, now a few things to share:

Jean over at Jean’s Art Dolls has started an Artist on Parade blog where every day a different piece of art will be featured and it could be yours!!! All different types of art are being called for. Details on the submission call and instructions are posted on the blog:
http://jadsartistsonparade.wordpress.com/

I submitted my card “Happy Spring” for a challenge over at TallyScrapper and I came in second place! I’m so excited! Thanks to Karen for her great recipe challenge over at JAD’s that I incorporated with the challenge over at Tally.

My friend Val had a great recycle challenge over at her blog and Jan over at JADs had a challenge to use cardboard tubes and make something out of it. I made an ATC book for both challenges. The flowers on the front are cut up cardboard tubes. I used Doodlebug flock and attached with brads. I used my new Bind-It-All machine to bind it together, the inside pages are baseball card sleeves. Definately check out Val's blog: http://allthingschula.blogspot.com/ She always has great challenges and prizes going on!

I also got my cover done for the BOM class. I used all my new Sassafras papers for this and did some hand stiching:

Got my HHN#6 Almighty layout done:

And finally, TallyScrapper is having their first cyber crop this weekend!! Starting Friday and going through Sunday, there will be chats, games and challenges to go around!
Enjoy the rest of your week!
