Long time no blog!

Hello everyone. Wow it's been so long since I blogged. I was on vacation last week. Maxwell's afterschool program ended and I had to pick him up every day from school in the afternoon. Last Friday was their last day of school and they're both excited for the summer. I spent the week taking them to and from school and running errands.

Father's day was really nice. They boys spend the day with their dad and I went to dinner with my parents and aunt to a delicious German restuarant. It was so yummy and the German Chocolate Cake was to die for! The day before we spend the afternoon with my sister, her husband and my little nephew. I got a great group shot of the three boys:

On my first day of vacation me and Maxwell made a cake when he got home from school. A funny thing about Max is everytime he eats Teddy Grahams he always takes one and makes a bed with a tissue for it to lay on, it's really cute. Well I told him about this pool cake that has all the Teddy Grahams swimming in it that I saw in a Woman's Day magazine years ago. He begged to make it, so I got all the stuff and it turned out pretty good. And you can see he loved how it turned out!

I also got some scrappy stuff done also, some mixed media ATCs for a swap and some HHN challenges and art journal pages:

Happy Wednesday everyone. I have a couple of things to share:

The new challenge is up at Butterfly Crafts. This challenge was to scrap a childhood fear. Maybe it's something silly from your past that makes your giggle now or something that still haunts you. Hello everyone. Wow, Monday's come way to quickly LOL

I had a great weekend and got a lot of scrappy projects done to share.

I sometimes get an extremely large amount of packages delivered to my house with swaps and stuff. Everytime the mail lady rings the doorbell and my mom answers the door they both just laugh at all the mail I get. She thought it would be nice if I made her a little something cause she always makes sure my packages are handled with care. I made a little mailbox notebook using Fancy Pants Splendid collection: I decided to make some notebooks with my Bind-it-All for Maxwell's teachers this year.

Here's one of them, I used Cosmo Cricket Jacks World collection:

My friend Val has a Twilight ATC swap on scrapbook.com.

Our challenge was to use one of the ATC's we got back on a layout:Here's two layouts I did for Scrappy Jo's challenges. The first was to use the colors green and tan, the first thing that popped in my head was Starbucks LOL. The second was to scrap your favorite outdoor activity.
