Butterfly Crafts Reveal Time!

Butterfly Crafts Challenge No. 16 is finally up! This challenge is about scrapping your quirks and idiosyncrasies . Things that you do that make you special, maybe a pet peeve or a funny habit. Maybe it's weird maybe it's normal...it's up to you!

Here's my layout that I did for this challenge:
My funny little quirk is that I love my hoop earrings and I can't go anywhere without wearing them. I must wear them at all times!
All these papers are from Prima Rock On paper collection sold only at Michaels.
Don't forget, there's a great prize and a quest designer spot for the winner!

Happy Wednesday!

Hi everyone. Well, the 4th of July has come and gone. Before we know it, it'll be August. I can't believe how fast time is flying. The holiday weekend was really nice. It was also very busy and I haven't scrapped in so long. I do have some pictures to share though.
I had off Friday and we went to my sister's house in Long Island, NY. On the way home at night Michael took some shots of passing cars and buildings on the expressway. This is one of my favorite shots, it's so cool:
The 4th of July was really nice. We spent the afternoon at Peddler's Village in Lahaska, PA which is a cute village with all different shops. If you're ever in the area you should definately spend the day there. They also have a great scrapbook shop Creative Inkling. I tried to be good and only bought myself a couple of things. I'm really trying to cut down on sb shopping sprees. Anyways, we walked around and visited our favorite stores.
After dinner we made our way down to the area where the fireworks display was.
We got a good spot, put down a blanket and had some snacks.
I got a great shot of the sun setting as we waiting for nightfall to come.
Then it was fireworks time, what a great show! It wasn't no Macy's display, but great just the same. This is my best shot, for some reason my pictures didn't come out so hot even with the fireworks setting.
I hope you all had a great holiday!

Enjoy the Weekend!!!

I had such a hard time getting home tonight. It's always so crazy the day before a holiday to try to get out of the city. I got soaked to the bone by a sudden rain storm, missed my bus and had to wait over an hour for the next one to come.
But now I'm home, dried off and happy to have a 3 day weekend.
I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy 4th of July!!!
Have lots of fun with your family & friends and enjoy!
PS: To my Pay it Forward girls:
I'm currently working on getting some supplies for your handmades, once I get everything I'll get started on them. Just wanted to let you girls know I haven't forgotten about you!
