New Dirty Scraps Challenge and other stuff...

* Dirty Scraps Challenge #5:
We all have them...hopes, dreams, fears... but this time I wanted to concentrate on those dreams, more specifically acknowledging those shattered dreams.
Scrap about a shattered dream.

Maybe your dream was to have 2.5 kids a home and a successful career. But you are divorced and raising the kids on your own. Maybe your dream was to be a dancer?
Heck maybe it was to be a secretary?
We all grow up and even if they are not our prominent dreams and we are completely satisfied with our current lives...we all had those dreams that sort of flew away.
I love my life but I can think of several dreams I did not see through.
It's NOT a bad thing, it is just life and the way life flows.
I truly believe it is a positive thing because out path in life leads us on many roads, not just the ones we plan for.
You can take this layout in any direction you want :)
Now go get dirty!

It was great to scrap this layout, so good to get it all out and on paper. Even though it's not a happy subject it does give me so much hope for the future. God is so good!

I can't wait to see what you guys come up with for this challenge!

* Today I was looking around at the paper packs at

Joann.com

and I found DCWV The Downtown Loft Stack. Holy smokes, how did I ever miss this stack? I don't know if this is old or new but I love it!!! I ordered it, of course, with a bunch of other stuff LOL I also bought a canvas tote bag that I want to alter and some white burlap pieces to add to my projects, I thought that would be fun.

* Now on to Project 12. Here's my layout for February 2010. So far so good with this project! I'm not exactly taking pictures every day but I'm trying not to be so strict with it or else I'll loose interest. I'm thinking I'll change the format up for March. If any of you are doing this project I'd love to see your layouts. I think there are a lot more people doing P365 layouts then P12.

This is my new cell phone that I recently purchased. I really love it, I can text, email, listen to the music player and browse the web.

Pringles Pretzel Sticks & Cranberry Raisinets
I’ve gone back on the healthy eating band wagon last week. I found two good snacks that are both around 100 calories each. Pringles Pretzel Sticks (I had the pizza flavor) and Cranberry Raisinets are both yummy and delicious. Scrunch Bootie at Payless
I’m so tired on the winter… I need to wear some open toe pumps or wedge sandals as soon as possible LOL I love these booties, they’re so beautiful. I think I need to make a trip to Payless!

I have a lot of scrappy projects that I’m working on also this month. I’ll be sharing as soon as I’m done. I’m working on two handmade projects for a coffee/tea swap that I’m hosting at scrapbook.com, my P12 February layout, True Blood ATC’s for a swap with the Scrap Happenz critique group girls, a layout or two and a circle journal. Whew, I better get to work…
