True Blood ATC's and other goodies...

Hello! Wow summer is here already and school is almost out. Last day is June 28th here in New York. Michael is done already, he just need to go in the last day to pick up his report card. Maxwell is so mad that Michael gets to stay home all this week and he has to go to school. Poor kid, I feel so bad waking him up each day.

This weekend the boys and my mom and I went to see Toy Story 3 and boy it was FANTASTIC! I loved it, it was such a great movie and the ending was so touching and sad. We were teary eyed coming out of the theater, I couldn’t help it and every time Michael looked at me he’d say “Mom stop” cause I was on the verge of crying again LOL When we came home Maxwell ran and got his Woody and hugged him, so precious. I think it doesn’t matter what age you age, when a movie is good, it’s good!

I’ve been meaning to share my True Blood ATC cards and here they are… finally! Us Scrap Happenzz Critique Group girlz have had a blast making these cards for each other and we’re in the process of thinking of our next TB swap, possibly inchies ~ I can’t wait!!! These are the cards I made for the girls and we each had one person assigned to us to make a bookmark for. I had a blast making that bookmark too. Anyways, I wanted to have a special place to store these cards and I decided to make a tiny ATC book. This is a total lift by the way, not my own idea. One of the girls on scrapbook.com had made a couple of them and I just knew I’d have to make one too. I really like the way it turned out.

The 52 card pickup class that I’ve been taking is going along really good. I’ve been learning some new things and other techniques that I knew about but never tried, so it’s been fun. I finally got caught up this past weekend on all my lessons. Here are some photos of my favorites so far:
And finally my weight loss is going strong!!!! I think this is the longest I’ve ever stuck to a healthy eating plan; I just have this drive and determination. I’m down 1.4 lbs since last week and have lost 8 lbs. so far. It’s going slow and steady, but they say that’s the best way to loose. My family and I went to Charlie Brown’s for Father’s Day on Sunday and it was yummy. My aunt and I even shared a piece of chocolate cake and I have to say I don’t miss it and I’m a big chocolate fan so that’s saying a lot LOL J Here’s a great recipe for Macaroni Salad, I made it this weekend and it’s delicious!!!

My weight loss journey is still going strong, I've been loosing weight each week and I feel great. I've even been able to fit into some clothes that have been so tight!
Over at scrapbook.com, Martica opened a weight loss challenge and it's right up my alley so I joined. I can't wait to get started! The top 3 winners will be receiving a bunch of awesome scra
pbook goodies and handmades. Now what better incentive is that?

I've also been continuing with my 52 Card Pick Up class. I'm behind in two of my lessons cause I'm waiting for my supplies to come.
Here's what I've been working on:
I have some fun True Blood ATC's to share with you all soon and a little mini album that I made to hold them!

Dirty Scraps challenge is up...

A new challenge is up over at Dirty Scraps!!!

Challenge #11 You really piss me off!
Hey anger is so real and it is a valid emotion in your life. As long as you deal with it, keep it under control and learn from it, it's not a bad thing. And yes, people get pissed off sometimes. This challenge is a little bit harder though, its easy to just say someone/something pisses you off, but I want you to journal/scrap about how you deal with it, or how you can BETTER deal with the situation. Remember this is YOUR ART your life and it's for you, so make it work for you.
Now go get DIRTY!

And the sponsor for this challenge is Nikki Sivils!
Come on over, check it out and get Dirty!
