Hope you all had a great Easter weekend. Ours was great, but it went way too fast. This was the first year that we didn’t color Easter eggs. We’ve been having hard boiled eggs a lot lately and the boys didn’t want to eat anymore. Plus my little guy is growing up way too fast nowadays, I wish he was still small LOL
Our tree in the front yard has finally bloomed...
Isn't it pretty?
I also got a great shot of Mike and Max this weekend..
Ah, brotherly love. We went to both cemeteries to leave flowers for both my grandmothers and my aunt. Max bought flowers for them with his own money, so sweet :)
I have two new projects that I’ve been working on this weekend also!!! I can’t wait to share with you guys. But I have a question??? I love making mini albums; actually one of the projects I just made is one. My question for you guys, do you love making mini albums and what do you make them for??? See I love making them but half the time I don’t even know what I’m going to use them for. Any suggestions??? I’d appreciate it :)
Yes a giveaway :) Well since I only had 4 girls sign up for my Pay it Forward giveaway, I decided to have a giveaway for the fifth album!!!
I purchased Amy Tangerine’s Big Picture class last month and was so inspired by her mini travel albums. I just love her style and when I saw them I thought they would be the perfect handmade item for you guys. So each of you will be receiving a mini album which is left blank and totally customizable. You can add more pages and embellishments as you’d like. I also made one for myself which I’ll be using as my P12 mini album for the next set of months. The following pictures are of my album. Each album is pretty much the same, some of the papers will be different in each album and I’ve added some extra items into my album. Check it out:
All you have to do is follow my blog and leave a comment on this post. I will pick a winner randomly from all your comments one week from today, April 20, 2011.
Hey guys, what’s up??? Hope you’re all doing well. Everything here is great. I’m so sorry, I’ve fallen so behind on blog posts lately, been super busy. My boys have been busy also with school work and major tests that are coming up soon. Anyways, here’s a little update:
Health: I got my results back from the MRI. Turns out my vertebrae shifted slightly, it’s called retrolisthesis. I couldn’t believe it because I seriously thought there was nothing wrong with me but go figure. I’m starting to feel better though with the physical therapy.
Fitness: I’m seriously on track now – woohoo!!! It’s so funny, I was so gung ho to get started back in January and for some reason I just got so discouraged and I wound up gaining weight. This past weekend Maxwell and I went for a walk/jog and it was so much fun. I want to continue doing that once the weather gets better. I’ve also started back to logging my food intake and making better choices. I think that’s what it comes down to for me, not letting myself go thru this cycle of eating well and then getting discouraged and going back to my old ways. I guess that’s something that I really need to work on.
I’m getting a new phone (an early birthday gift for myself) and it’s android! A T-Mobile G2 ~ I can’t wait and I got a super adorable wood grain case for it!!! I like the size of my HTC but I have to say I dislike Windows based phones.
I bought a package of Broadway Nails stick-on wraps; I can’t wait to try them out when my nails grow out a bit more.
Nestle Skinny Cow chocolates – delicious. Had the chocolate wafer bar today and it was on 3 points (weight watchers points plus).
Pay it forward 2011 – finished!!! I will share in my next post.
30 days of lists – still need to finish. Hopefully I’ll get to it soon.
Domino mini album – still working on. I had to order some Graphic 45 papers because I didn’t have any.
Operation Blessing-mini album – still working on. Please check out the blog and it’s a great cause to donate your skills to.
Tally Survivor layouts – up to date. I’m loving these challenges, so much fun!!!
P12 – finished my first mini album for January to March! Got my next album ready to go and I’m up to date with my P365 pictures too.
