This crafty girl is getting healthy!

Week 2 of the Crafty Girls Get Healthy 8 Week Challenge is underway and so far I'm doing pretty good.  As you may remember, I started my own personal challenge in January and since then I've lost 10 pounds!!!For me this process is slow going but that's okay.  I'm not looking to lose a ton of weight quickly, the slower the better.  I'm also so happy to have the challenge and all the girls that have joined with Val and I.  It's so great to have friends who are going thru the same issues and to learn and inspire each other is awesome.

These are my first two pages of my March section in my Weight Loss SMASH journal.  I love this geometric photo art project on Elsie Larson's blog and my friend Val's awesome take on it too, I've been wanting to do it for so long.  I thought it would be a great background to add my goal card for this challenge.  On the right hand page I cut out the letters free hand and added them on pop-dots, along with my pledge card.  On the bottom of the page I changed the title of the pie chart to How I Will Meet My Goal, pretty cute I think.

I've been eating really healthy, I cut out snacking at night and I actually really look forward to exercising at night.  Who knew I would ever admit that LOL  And I look back at all the times that I tried to lose weight and failed.  But now I don't look at it as failing, I look at it as stepping stones.  Sometimes these experiences prepare you for when you are actually in a place in your life that you can do it.

Please stop by the Crafty Girls Get Healthy blog and Facebook page.
It's never too late to sign up and participate.  We'd love to have you!
